During the war there are no flights to Ukraine, so you have to cross the border by land transport. There are five countries you can choose to enter Ukraine from by crossing the border by land transport. These five countries are Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.

Trains are the most efficient way to cross borders, better book the seat as early as possible in case no seat available.

You have to go through two border controls. One belongs to the Ukrainian side and the other to the Polish side. Whether you are entering or leaving Ukraine, you must consider the waiting time at border controls on both sides to estimate the total waiting time.
